Absolutely! We can sell all equipment and parts to the general public. It will be important to verify that the parts purchased are the ones needed since we cannot accept returns on electrical parts. Please note, we cannot sell refrigerant to anyone who does not have an EPA License.
Yes! Many of our parts are generic replacement parts that fit a number of models and makes. If we don't have your part in stock, many times we can order it and have it in a short time.
Yes! We carry a selection of capacitors, motors, relays, hard start kits, and thermostats. Some air conditioners require specific replacement parts and may not be in stock or might need to be ordered from a particular distributor.
Air Conditioning Filters are disposable filters made with fiberglass to allow maximum air flow across the coil while also catching as many of the airborne dust and dirt particles in the air. The filters catch and collect these particles, trapping them in the fiberglass mesh, preventing them from collecting on the coil, which keeps your coil clean.
But, did you know that a dirty filter can prevent air flow? Restricted air flow can prevent the refrigerant from fully switching from liquid to gas (which is necessary to make the coil cold). If refrigerant is sent back to the compressor still in liquid form or as a mixture of gas and liquid, it can cause a strain on your compressor, costing much more to operate and even causing compressor failure over time. This was made very evident when Electro-static air filters were being used commonly.
So, it is best to replace your filters every time you get your electric bill, to keep your costs lower, your coil cleaner, and your compressor operating to the best of its ability.
